The Jacob Javits Convention Center, commonly known as the Javits Center, is New York City's premier event and exhibition space, located on Manhattan’s West Side at 11th Avenue between 34th and 40th Streets. Opened in 1986 and named after U.S. Senator Jacob K. Javits, the center spans over 3.3 million square feet, with more than 850,000 square feet dedicated to exhibition space. The Javits Center hosts a wide range of events, from large-scale trade shows and conventions to corporate meetings, cultural events, and public exhibitions.
